Two dragonflies of the species Sympetrum sanguineum (english: "Ruddy Darter", german: "Blutrote Heidelibelle") during pairing.
The male is in front, after hooking up the females neck during flight, then copulation is performed while flying and/or sitting close to the water. Afterwards, at the beginning still in tandem flight, the female is placing the eggs in or close to the water.

Azurjungfer / Coenagrion spec.
If I find the time to go out shooting macros this year, I often don^t have the luck to find appropriate conditions, in most cases it was too windy, even in the early morning. This damselfly was one of the rare sense of achievements....
